Military exercises of the Alliance will destabilize the situation in Europe, and NATO knows about it, says Moscow.
According to the words of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko, the NATO military exercises, which will be held in 2024, will be of an "aggressive character" and represent "a provocation, a demonstration of power and an attempt at exerting military-political pressure."
"The scenario (of the exercises) is formulated so that there is no doubt that it is part of the preparations for a military conflict with the Russian Federation," he adds.
The mentioned military exercises will be the largest exercises of the North Atlantic Alliance since the Cold War. It is planned to take place in Germany, Poland and the Baltic countries.
Their goal, as officially announced, will be to create a response scenario to a potential Russian attack.
NATO indeed attacked Yugoslavia in 1999, but since then, they have not taken part in any offensive operations.

I am truly puzzled. Peter is either a liar or willfully blind and ignorant.
Peter, may I respectfully ask you to clarify your status by contacting the countless and innocent people killed in Libya in the last two decades. You may also wish to consult the population of Afghanistan and ask them about NATO. While you’re at it, you should perhaps touch base with innocent population in Syria to ask them what three major NATO countries, namely USA, UK and France have done to them since 1999. Granted the latter may not have been with full NATO participation, but if the USA and UK and France bomb you at the same time, perhaps we may spare the innocent victims the labelling of whether these countries run NATO.

Have you heard about self infliction? That is what is going to happen to Russia while in the war with Ukraine. It will be an humiliating defeat like Serbia's and I am sorry to break your heart. Russia will ne dismantled or disintegrated further and it will take decades to recover. Will have to pay financially for the damages caused to Ukraine. Forget about moral damages as they have no morals...

Yet Russia absolutely had no problem in holding joint military drills with Belarus close to the Polish border earlier this month? Or were they not of an ""aggressive character" and represented "a provocation, a demonstration of power and an attempt at exerting military-political pressure.""?
Military drills are supposed to examine all hypothetical options and scenarios in any given situation and as such, are expected to have an "aggressive character", since war has an "aggressive character" in itself and in this particular case, need to also serve as a deterrent against Russia's military if they get too cocky around the Polish and Baltic borders, given that Russia is the one attacking their neighbours (Ukraine and Georgia) and not NATO. NATO indeed attacked Yugoslavia in 1999, but since then, they have not taken part in any offensive operations.

It's been happening since 1992 when SATAN usa and nazi roman catholic empire destroy Jugoslavija by funding, arming and supporting croatian nazi ustase and albo siptar terrorist. And on top of that expanding nato ( nazi alliance terrorist organization ) to impoverished and isolated little nazi suck ass puppets ( romania, bulgaria, albania, montenegro, croatia ). So does any one think Russia will just sit back and wait to get butchered up like what happen to Srbija on the 90's ???

That is the answer. Russia is weak as it is and getting weaker since it started the war with Ukraine. At present Russia is down over 200.000 of its service men. What is Russia's GDP?
