Craig Tiley, the tournament director, revealed important information to the Australian media.

He stated that unvaccinated players will not be allowed to participate in the Australian Open.

Australian Open will be held from January 17 to 30, 2022 in Melbourne, and the title will be defended by Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic. "I would like Novak Djokovic to come here. He said that vaccination is a private matter for him and that he will not talk about it. Most tennis players have been vaccinated. We would like Novak here," Tiley answered the question about Djokovic.

Confirmation also came from "Times" journalists and other journalists in the world of tennis.

Those who do not get vaccinated will not participate in Melbourne.
